Review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) by Bryan R — 26 Jun 2013
Once again, Goblet of Fire follows it's predecessors footsteps by going darker. The actors are selling it, which is actually part of the reason why the dorky teen angst doesnt completely fall flat on it's ass.
The score is great, action scenes are all really good and the additions such as 'Mad Eye Moody' will be winning over some new fans. My only inquisition is this: why don't these people just sit Harry down and explain EVERYTHING about Voldemort to him; his backstory, his followers.
..everything, so he doesn't have to stumble around the most dangerous school alive finding out about this things by accident or because the plot demands it. This doesn't hurt the film at all, but it's annoying.
