Review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) by Noah N — 31 Dec 2014
Arguably the film that strayed farthest from its book, The Goblet Of Fire repeatedly frustrates the audience by creating buildup for potential action sequences and then never actually shows them (the Quidditch World Cup, the battles with the dragons, etc).
It also gets to a certain point where it seems as if major plot elements are shamelessly made up as it goes along, which as a result hinders the willing suspension of disbelief.
