Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) by Kevin M. W — 31 Oct 2013
The deathly flaw in the franchise is that (like most adolescents, come to think of it) it believes that the world revolves around its hallowed protaganist. No protaganist = no life, nothing to do. Lots of visual shine and dazzle work to try to disguise that no character even exists w/o the lead's presence .
.. revealing the shallow heart of the piece. And so a film with a boatload of Britain's top talent all monotonously repeating two words over and over: "Harry Potter." "Harry Potter." You'll be saying it in your sleep.
But the film? Meh.
