Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) by John F — 16 Dec 2013
It's a fitting ending to the film series but I can't help but think that the last few Potter's were much better as books. Despite that, the battle of Hogwarts was greatly realized and it was nice to see Maggie Smith kicking ass as Professor McGonagal.
I think my main problem is some of the acting is quite bad. I do like Daniel Radcliffe but at times I can't help but cringe at how desperate his acting is. This varies too between the supporting cast.
I guess that's what you get when you choose looks over talent, but he was definitely better younger strangely enough. Overall though this is enjoyable and the magic of Rowling's world can't help but engross me.
It's sad it has to end, books and movies.
