Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) by Andrew C. D — 26 Mar 2015
It has all come to this, the epic conclusion of all Potter films. The 8th Potter film ends in an emphasis, of adventure and "epicness". And everything in here is just fantastic. As I follow the whole HP series, "Deathly Hollows pt.
2" is just enthralling and bone chilling at the same time. A nail biting edge-of-your-sit experience. It was all magical, as Potter together with his close friends, Hermoine and Ron, are in for the adventure as they continue to search for the remaining Horcuxes and to destroy all of it.
I really like the story telling development. That also leads into some interesting scene of events which intrigues me a bit. Who knew that Serverus Snape is such an important character of the series. The fun begins in the 2nd half of the film, when the army of darkness collides with the army of Hogwarts.
The visual effects of that epic battle scene is just fantastic. The part where the Hogwarts professors cast a huge ball of shield named "Protego Maxima". As were professor Minerva McGonagall cast the guards of Hogwarts named "Piertotum Locomotor".
And that leads to an epic clash of huge Orcs against Dumbledor's armies. All of these epic proportions happening into an one epic war. The last battle between Harry Potter against Voldemort. I was like, "that my friends, is what you called epic boss battle".
I love what they did on the fight scenes with great special effects which causes more epic proportions. If you're a HP fan or a movie goer who just happen to watched all of these films. You would definitely enjoy it.
From top to bottom, I was really into it. I can't even nod just to concentrate nor I was stunned on the whole movie. Amazing performances as usual, great visual effects as usual (much better this time though) and superb cinematography and production design.
A movie of a magical tale, with love and friendship. Mystery and dark magics. All on this one hell of a fantasy, that everybody loves. Superb job to all of the film makers who made this film possible in a very fantastic way, and to the creator herself, J.
K Rowling, thank you ma'am for your brilliance. Thank you for making this fantasy masterpiece that we would never forget for a very long time. 5/5.
