Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011) by Henry P — 27 Oct 2017
In the words of Ron Weasly "Brilliant." That's what describes this movie. It is a thriller with its wonderful pacing, amazing story, and the thrill of Harry's final confrontation with Lord Voldemort.
All seven of the previous movies have been building up to this event, from Harry's learning he's a wizard, all the way to the end. I knew how this would end, since I'd read the book, but I can't let that get in the way of this adaptation.
It cut important points like the full backstory of Dumbledore's sister, but still prevails. It is a thriller because from their breaking into Gringotts, to the final Horcrux destruction. You will laugh, cry, and sit anxiously wondering what will happen next.
However, there are some disturbing images I will not describe. Venture at your own risk, but there will be some images that may frighten you. However, don't let this epic conclusion to the Harry Potter phenomenon be ruined for you by the images.
All in all, see this if you want to know what happens to all the characters you've grown to love. Harry Potter lives on forever!
