Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 suffers from the same problems that all the potter films tend to have, that being that so much happens and so much information is passed along throughout the series that it almost requires the viewer to rewatch the films before seeing any of the sequels so as to be caught up and interested in the current movie.

With that in mind Deathly Hallows part 1 isn't as good as most of its predecessors as most of the story lacks the action and fantasy that was so prevalent in the first few films. Too much time is dedicated to dialogue and not enough time to the world of Potter.
