Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Baurushan J — 14 Dec 2013
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows- Part 1 is now the fifth most underrated movie of the HP franchise list. I don't see why this sequel has got less reviews as well as Harry Potter 4 and 5. Remember, this is the setup to our big climax that came out a year later.
The story is that now Harry has the instructions to kill Voldemort with a bit of help from Professor Slughorn from the last movie, the trio have now discovered that Voldemort's powers are hidden in seven different objects known as Horcruxes.
They already have destroyed the Philosopher's Stone in Harry Potter 1 and the diary in Harry Potter 2, now five more remain. If the trio don't destroy these Horcruxes, then Voldemort will remain immortal.
Even if this book was split into two movies, it is still the first half of Harry Potter 7- Part 2 and counts as the other half of that film. SO there's no need to give separate percentages each. Even though it's the first half of the last movie, the franchise has already taken the ballsy direction.
You thought killing Dumbledore was insane, well killing Dobby who was a fun character and was always trying to protect Harry in Harry Potter 2 is just as insane as that. I think this is the moment where we start to lose our beloved and important characters and this has been happening since Harry Potter 4 and Harry Potter 5.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 gets a 10/10.
