Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Luke M — 05 Jun 2014
Rupert Grint flexes his acting chops in this film, displaying ironclad resolve to demonstrate both the weakness and strength in one of the greatest friendships known to literature. The rest of the film is well-executed, which is to be expected given the amount of time provided by the two-part split of the final chapter.
The death of Dobby proves to be the most devastating moment of the entire franchise, which is surprisingly impressive considering the film's status as a necessary precursor.
