Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Noah N — 31 Dec 2014
While many have viewed the studio's decision of breaking up the final book into two movies as another money-making strategy, the first part seems to be quite a necessity when it comes to bringing out most of the essence offered by the final book.
While the pace may be a bit off on an occasional manner, the whole film somehow doesn't feel like a drag at all as most of the elements serve as the pivotal core components to both story progress and character developments.
To sum things up, the film is the calm before the storm, and that is the final film of the series.
