Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Warren M — 03 Jan 2016
The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is by no means pointless, but it fails to build the conflict of the story to a fever pitch until the very end, making the action feel a bit rushed and forced. The hunting of the horcruxes alone did not prove interesting enough to really move the film along, though its brilliance in examining emotional depths of the main characters is often overlooked and underrated.
