Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Lyda M — 28 Apr 2014
"Always the tone of surprise." Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) is about to turn 17 and the protection cast upon him by his parents in the Dursley's house will cease. With Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) dead and Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) reigning over the Wizarding and Muggle world, Harry is on the run with his bestest pals Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) to find and destroy Voldemort's horcruxes, a task given to them by Dumbledore and uncovering the Deathly Hallows along the way.
Funny! 5 Star Special Effects! 5 Star Editing and Direction by David Yates! 5% Not By the Book. 95% By the Book. 5 Star Acting by Helena Bonham Carter who plays Bellatrix Lestrange. Dobby (Toby Jones) is so endearing! Emma Watson is so pretty! Rupert Grint is so macho! I find it so admirable that the whole cast came back even if they have little or no part at all! Hurray for the Brits!
