Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Trent K — 12 Feb 2016
Thrilling. Heartfelt. Emotional. Powerful. Does it get a TINY bit slow when Harry and Hermione are alone in the woods? Sure. But on the whole, it's an immaculately directed first half of a film, displaying how these three central characters have grown together so beautifully in the midst of overwhelming odds.
And the "3 Brothers" animation toward the end is a marvel.
