Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Jacob — 11 May 2013

This is really depressing because I want to say that this was an awesome movie. It’s a great story and the best in the series. The director does a good job of recapping the story getting rid of anything that is not too necessary.

However, this is his biggest flaw. Because everything is to the point nothing is really developed because everything that made the book good and created tension isn’t there. Nonetheless, there are some good moments in it but once again they are very brief and don’t last long.

In short while Deathly Hallows Part 1 is good movie it suffers because of the very nature of tale it is trying to retell.
