Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Themedorian — 03 Sep 2011
I get the feeling this entire film was made to give the screen time that Harry, Ron, and Hermione deserve with one another. It is one of the darkest and most emotional films in the series and really does a great job leading up to the conclusion.
It is beautifully filmed and acted and happens to be very faithful to the novel. My only warning is that if you've never read any of the novels, the film will be hard to understand at some points. If you haven't read the book, do so.
It tells the story better than any movie ever could.
