Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) by Robbie M — 26 Jun 2013

Already dismissed for having long stretches of 'camping in the woods,' DH1 is a sombre, dark beginning to what will appear to be the final battle and finale to a childhood phenomenon. The atmosphere is present and the fetch quest is there as the preperation for the final boss fight and to keep the film going.

We get some action, some solid performances and overall a great set-up. By now you've already made up your mind to go see it, so I'll redundantly say: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is a great movie.
