As of 2008, this is the best of the series and the most maligned by critics. Chris Columbus was departing and lavished attention and detail. Richard Harris is so good he makes a competent successor seem inadequate.
If only he could have completed the series. John Williams HP scoring at its apex. Satisfying as a stand-alone movie, apart from the rest of the series.
