Review of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) by Sandra V — 04 May 2014
A very faithful adaptation of the book that does an excellent job of conveying the sometimes convoluted plot. The main trio's acting improves and the scenes in the Forbidden Forest and the Chamber of Secrets add real menace.
The flashback sequence inside the diary is handled well and the diary itself and the hissing Harry hears provide genuine creepiness.
