Review of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) by Edgar C — 31 Dec 2012
Chris Columbus continues with his peculiarly childish magical style, keeping the magic still alive. It did not manage to surpass the original, but Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets resorts to the same formula used in the first film and deepens us in the world J.K. Rowling achieved to create. With the same charming magicians we saw in the first film, good special effects, a magical world to be seen, an intense climax and, unfortunately, with dumb fillers that take the seriousness out of the project, this sequel was already predestined to keep bringing sequels along with several directors along the way.
61/100.
