Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Daniel W — 29 Jan 2011
Modern Britain's a bit of a shithole, really, isn't it? And sadly I don't think many of the actions perpetrated by the antagonists were even exaggerated from reality... The film's comparisons with Gran Torino are inevitable, I suppose, and while Harry Brown doesn't quite have the emotional impact of Torino, it does have one of Michael Caine's all-time best performances.
