Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Mark C — 06 Feb 2011
Michael Caine is his usual powerful self but the film itself has little to offer. I don't gain much pleasure from seeing drug addicts/dealers killed when they haven't initiated aggression first.
Yes, some of the people that Michael Caine killed in the film deserved punishment in some form but the film seems to be too attached to its vigilantism to ask any of the hard moral questions that come along with such acts of violence.
