Dark and mostly believable, I was initially sceptical that this would just be cashing in on the success of 'Gran Torino' but I was totally wrong; this is a great film in it's own right. Harry's tale is a depressing one, where the perceived ineffectualness of the justice system is brought to the fore.

As most people undoubtedly know, Michael Kane is a fine actor and his skills are on display here. He brings across a believable jaded attitude to his life that stems from the loss of those around him.

The film can be said to be about natural justice as although Harry is a killer too, we feel sympathy for him as he attempts to get the justice that the law fails to provide.

Not a film for those easily depressed but definitely a worthwhile watch. Kane is a believable vigilante who keeps the audience engrossed throughout.
