Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Zurino O — 11 Feb 2012
A deliberately slow moving drama. This is not James Bond nor a knock off of one of several (excellent) Liam Neeson's latest string of violent movies. It stands on its own 2 legs. And its done in such a way that you could see it actually happening somewhere just like that.
Great acting and a subdued approach make this film not just believable, but plausible and possible. For what it tried to accomplish, I say very well done. Its the only way it would have worked.
