Review of Harry and the Hendersons (1987) by Danny R — 02 Apr 2010
A heartwarming and funny film with some big laughs, when a chance car accident in the forest introduces the Henderson family to a real-life Bigfoot, who is not a ferocious monster but an intelligent and timid creature, he quickly becomes a true friend and part of the family.
Now the Hendersons must race against the clock to return "Harry" back to his natural environment before the authorities capture him. A sweet-natured and amusing movie with a terrific performance from John Lithgow.
Oscar Winner for Best Makeup by Rick Baker. Highly Recommended.
