Review of Harry and the Hendersons (1987) by Brian T — 31 Mar 2013
Pay no attention to the other "professional" reviews of this magically entertaining classic from the 80's. It's worth the price of admission just to see Rick Baker's astonishing makeup and creature creation effects.
Lithgow is at his finest dramatically and comically. The pacing of the film is a little bit suspect, but who cares. It's a heartwarming and beautiful film, and only the most cynical will find a reason to give it a thumbs down.
