Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Edgar C — 10 Dec 2008
When I first started watching this movie, I kind of wrote it off in my mind as a dumb 70s movie. I kept watching, but wasn't really expecting anything great to happen. However, once I got into it, I realized that there was a lot more depth to the story than I had anticipated there being.
It was an incredibly unique story, to say the least, and I was actually impressed by it. If you get tired of the same kind of romantic comedy, this is a great variation of the genre. Plus, the whole movie was about half dialogue, half Cat Stevens music.
..so how bad can that actually be? :).
