Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Alex S — 18 Mar 2009
Slightly hippyish (understandably date-wise) yet marvellous, life-affirming, joyful and hilarious at times. They really don't make films like this anymore, and I can understand why in a way, this is a stand out film, that says life can be meaningful even without a divine meaning and life is always worth living.
Everyone deserves to have seen this film. And they won't regret it if they have.
