Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Min K — 18 Apr 2010
What an excellent film about life and humanity. Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon have an amazing dynamic and Vivian Pickles is just a treat to watch. This is very much a predecessor of so many indie-style films to come.
An amazing script that gives perfect one-liners that will have you chuckling as well as thinking. Cat Stevens' soundtrack is a perfect, quirky fit for this film. Plus some clever camera tricks and one hilarious breaking of the fourth wall.
