Ruth Gordon brought a remarkable and refreshing performance to the table with her portrayal of a liberal and charismatic aging woman. But on the whole, I couldn't help feeling repulsed by Bud Cort's Harold.
It disabled me from seeing the magic in this so-called 'classic'.
