Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Hannah D — 05 May 2012
As I have a dark sense of humour this was right up my street. The funniest moments are when Harold is trying to fake a suicide, and his mother has become so insouciant about it that she pays him no attention.
I love his relationship with the (much) older woman. It is a warm friendship that blossoms into something more by the end of the film. At least that gets his mother's attention!
