Some people say this is the greatest love story of our time and I would have to disagree. While Harold and Maude have have great chemistry, they are never once conflicted in this film until it's too late.
Yes, their age difference is a huge conflict but I'm talking about a purely emotional one, one that pushes their love to the break and yet is still overcome. This moment doesn't come til the end of the movie and it has no possible way of being overcome.
Nonetheless, this film was very interesting and quite entertaining throughout.
