Wow, I fucking loved this movie. Absolutely hilarious, very dark, and somehow still uplifting, Harold And Maude may some day end up on my list of favorite movies. It's so impeccably and confidently crafted and the two lead performances are sublime.
From the first second to the last frame, I was hooked. As great a movie about life and death as there has ever been, I was so caught up in this films dark humor and transcendent beauty that I never wanted it to end.
Surprisingly it still remains fresh and unique even to this day, which is saying something for a 44 year old movie.
