Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Selwyn L — 03 Apr 2011
Finally got to watch a DVD of this cult classic over the weekend. Delightfully whacky and so ahead of its time in terms of it's themes of the agelessness of love, discovering a zest for life (and acceptance of death), envrionmentalism and learning to live life to the fullest.
I couldn't believe this was released in 1971- when it was deservedly nominated for a Golden Globe back then.
