Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Ross M — 28 Jan 2012
It's sad knowing that films like this aren't embraced by the general public. This was, in my view, one of the most perfect ways of telling a story with opposites attracting to one another. The combination of charming humor and dark humor is spot on, plus Ruth Gordon did a nice job playing the eccentric Maude.
If you're a true cinephile, and you're looking for something different, you simply cannot miss Harold and Maude.
