Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Paige A — 12 Jun 2010
D'AWWWW.
Harold's the odd and death-obsessed 19 year old who doesn't fit into his mother's rich standards. Maude's the eccentric widow/holocaust survivor who shows him there's more to life than death. A dark comedy, a romantic tragedy, Harold and Maude is probably one of the sweetest films I've ever seen. Set to Cat Stevens, even greater.
