Review of Harold and Maude (1971) by Ron M — 28 Feb 2009
Black as night comedy. Bud Cort creates a character for the ages. His scenes with his mother, who he's contantly trying to shock, are pure hilarity! And please don't get the wrong idea. The woman on the cover (Ruth Gordon) is NOT his mother.
In this twisted fairy tale, it's actually his love interest. Must be seen to be believed.
