Review of Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) by Christopher S — 26 May 2011
One of the funniest films I have ever seen. Most stoner flims tend to all sound and look the same, but this film is a one of a kind, a true classic. I am biased since I am Korean like John Cho but his role as Harold Lee, the straight-laced second generation Korean-American investment banker was spot on.
It seemed he only got into trouble whenever he was around his best friend Kumar, the weed loving medical genius. David Krumholtz and Eddie Kaye Thomas were also good but it was Christopher Meloni as Freak Show that stole every scene.
While I loved this film, I so wished the sequel never came to be but oh well. It still does not change my opinion of this one.
