Review of Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) by Alexander D — 22 Sep 2011
HAROLD AND KUMAR GO TO WHITE CASTLE is a vulgar, gross stoner/road comedy that only pleases the stoned viewers who are watching it. It tells the story of (well, if you want it plain and simple, that is) an Indian-American and a Korean-American (stirring up a lot of racial issues inside and outside the film itself) who go on a journey long enough to write an epic about.
..but just to ingest a bunch of freaking White Castle hamburgers. I know. If you haven't seen this, you're most likely sitting there, thinking, "Really!?", and I'm nodding back, saying, "Mm-hm.
Really. Two buddies go as far as they can to spend their weekend indulging cows." And that's pretty much all it is. It's ridiculous, there's nothing funny about it, and it's not worth watching.
