Review of Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (1991) by Erich C — 02 Sep 2008
A true classic of late 80's/Early 90's nonsensical action B films. Rourke as Harley and Don Johnson as The Marlboro Man (ex girlfriend named Virginia Slim.. buddy named Jack Daniels... I haven't seen bad joke names like this since Dead Heat's Roger Mortis).
Besides being light as as air (no thinking required), it tells the tale of two buddies who rob Tom Sizemore and then get chased by a Baldwin in a leather trench. Besides being entertaining, this movie imparts upon us this wisdom "Better to be dead and cool, then alive and uncool".
.. Classic!!
