Review of Hardware (1990) by John A — 28 Sep 2007
Top film. Okay, it rips of a 200AD story and it has a budget of 6d, but it is definitely the best cyberpunk film ever made. Claustrophobic, dark brooding interiors, and Lemmy driving a taxi. What more could you want?
Well, you might want Iggy Pop as a radio DJ blasting out a PiL soundtrack, and a fat slimey voyeur who gets torn apart by by a self assembling war droid whose head is discovered in the desert by the lead singer from Fields of the Nephilim, coupled with low level lighting and tons of violence. Check: it's got all that too.
