Review of Hardware (1990) by Ryan M — 15 Feb 2010
British film although most actors speak with american accents and the geography is ambigious so as not to estrange american viewers probablly. geuinely good sci fi film of the killer cyborg variety lol held back by totally unessecary nasty elements and sub plots about a peeping tom and the opening sequence involving the scrap merchant is cheap nasty and almost put me off watching the rest of the film which im glad I did stick with it as its became one of my fave films based on a 2000ad comic too which gets it extra cool points in my books.
plot revolves around a cyborg whose only mission is to kill to keep the population down running rampant in an aprtment block very violent verry nasty but also pretty bloody good. lemmy from motorhead has a cameo so does iggy pop.
great soundtrack as you'd expect given the cameos.
