Review of Hardcore Henry (2015) by James U — 09 Apr 2016

Hardcore Henry is a movie much like Fury Road. You want an action movie shot from the point of view of the main character with lots and lots of over the top violence, you sir got your wish. This movie is balls to the walls crazy so if you are going in expecting anything short of a thrill ride don't bother.

Also you had best have a strong stomach cause some of the chase sequences get a bit disorienting though are extremely entertaining to watch. A couple of the visual effects don't work but the overall scheme is very good.

Every bullet and punch feels like it hurts and the stunt team should be commended for their work. The story is simple and straight to the point with a nice twist at the ending that basically results in more asskickery.

A fun joy ride that I hope to revisit in the future.
