Review of Hardcore Henry (2015) by Lauren S — 16 Apr 2016
While this film is a technical and visual marvel, the story itself is pretty generic and the epitome of a male power fantasy. The female characters are either damsels in distress or are used as set dressing.
I did enjoy Sharlto Copley's character. The villain's motives and strange powers made no sense and were never really explained. It also could have been edited for time.
