Review of Hardcore Henry (2015) by Justmy2 — 06 May 2016

This is perhaps the only movie I ever felt ashamed about enjoying.

It is a gruesome gore-happy movie shot in 1st person perspective, which puts YOU as the viewer in the shoes of a rampaging mass murderer, with only the flimsiest of plot as an excuse. By all means any sensible person should hate it.

And yet I had a huge smile plastered on my face the entire time I watched it, with tears of unadulterated joy welling up in my eyes!

I'm truly a terrible terrible person.

This movie is pure evil, on a genius scale. The only reason I don't give it a 10 is because I'm trying to pretend I'm a good person who don't revel in mindless violence.
