Review of Hard Target (1993) by Masaio S — 22 Dec 2006
I played the John Woo drinking game with this movie; you take a drink every time some grating factual inaccuracy insults your intelligence. I got through a third of a litre of overproof vodka and only barely had enough intellectual wherewithal to understand the action sequences by the end of it, let alone the plot.
What does that tell you about this movie? But, as always with John Woo, the action was spectacular, which pushes up its rating.
