Review of Hard Target (1993) by Serge S — 22 Aug 2008
This version of "The Most Dangerous Game" is Woo's American debut. Slower than Hong Kong Woo, this took me a little getting used to as a fan of his earlier work. However, with Van Damme at his cheesy best and Henriksen as one the greatest fucking bad guys ever this is a top quality action film, with a dark undercurrent, and it's still crammed with wonderful Wooism.
