Theres not much in the way of plot in this Van Damme kickathon, but the action, under the direction of the great John Woo in his american debut, is fucking amazing! the bit where an actual stuntman flies over the top of a moving car whilst coming off a motorcycle, wow! it puts most action films today to shame in it's sheer meaty, dangerous looking coolness and execution of all the intricate stunts and pyrotechnics, also Van Damme punches a rattle snake, and then bites off it's rattle! Winner!!
