Review of Hard Eight (1997) by Bill W — 09 Jan 2009
This is definitely a PT Anderson movie, stylistically reminiscent of Magnolia especially. Wonderful music. But not a whole lot actually happens, and the movie feels longer than it is. Good stuff, but this is the one PTA movie that I *won't* be adding to my collection.
