Review of Hard Eight (1997) by Johnathan B — 04 Jul 2007
It's P.T. Anderson's finest piece. It's got the mold of an odd Hitchcock-based story, where the characters are entangled in struggle and unlikely relation more so as the plot unravels. In the art of writing the story backwards and skimming out the predictable thematics that sour so many films, this film cannot be missed.
