Review of Hard Eight (1997) by Karen I — 12 Feb 2008
I just saw "There will be Blood", but this might just be my favorite PTA film. The character Sydney is such a classy, warm old school gentle man that you fall in love with, and John C. Reily is perfick as his jackass appretice turn son.
PTA has something about the way he frames his characters in the screen that makes me like it more and more everytime I see it.
